What Others Are Saying About Our Charters
Captain Doug did a great job putting me on fish. My trip was targeting spotted sea trout, a great fish to catch and eat. Short boat ride and I was catching trout almost every cast. Capt. Doug knows the area waters, what to fish and when to fish. Very personable in the boat. It’s like you are fishing with a good friend. Highly recommend Capt. Doug Chason charter. Best thing he does an excellent job cleaning your catch too. Thanks Capt. Doug. Looking forward to going again.

The best inshore fishing day that I have ever had. Captain Doug put us on the meat. We absolutely slayed the Trout and Red Fish. I can’t wait to go again. If you are looking for a great inshore fishing trip, I would highly recommend Captain Doug Chason and D.C. Saltwater Charters.

Doug took us out in the bay and we maxed out! 1 Redfish, 1 Triple Tail, 1 Sheep’s Head, 1 White Trout, 5 Speckled Trout, 7 Flounder and we even saw a few Alligators! Excellent trip. Coming back as soon as we get another vacation.

Had a great time today! We started off catching a lot of trout. My 6 year old son was able to catch some and Doug and Cody were both very patient and helpful with him. Then we spent a couple hours fishing for tripletail which was a blast. It was the first time for us to do this type of fishing and we all enjoyed it. I highly recommend this trip and hopefully we can do it again down the road!

I booked this trip for my husband and I for his birthday. We had a blast. Captain Doug knew what was biting, and where to go. He was personable and helpful. He was very patient, and only threatened to make me walk the plank once. To be fair, this was after the second time getting my line tangled. He had a good sense of humor. I highly recommend booking with him, I will definitely go again.

The Man who Taught Us to Fish!
I don't believe that we would have a passion for fishing today if it was not for my Grandfather Bill Cannon. He loved to fish and cook for his family and friends.
